About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Financial Planning & Analytics Specialist to drive forecasting, reporting, and business insights for leased network assets. This role combines financial analysis, stakeholder management, and data analytics to help leadership make informed business decisions. You will work closely with Finance, Business Intelligence, Operations, and Data teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, improve reporting processes, and support strategic planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of monthly outlooks and real-time forecast updates.
• Monitor and analyze spend across Fiber, Colocation, and Peering categories.
• Support financial planning activities by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Transform complex datasets into meaningful financial insights and executive-ready reports.
• Translate data into clear recommendations that support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that improve visibility into financial performance.
• Oversee the reporting pipeline and dashboard outputs produced by data analysts and supporting teams.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Lead data validation efforts to maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams.

About you

• At least 5 years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics.
• At least 2 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, or related functions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and/or BigQuery.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading initiatives, projects, or teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to manage and mentor a small team.
• Supervisory or people management experience (preferred).
• Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or P&L analysis (preferred).
• Experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, vendor management, or spend management environments (preferred).
