Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned FP&A Specialist to bridge strategic financial planning with operational execution within the business unit. You will drive complex forecasting, performance management, and scenario analysis while guiding Senior and Junior Analysts.

This role aligns with FP&A standards and supports leadership decisions with data-driven insights. You will mentor a finance team, deliver robust financial narratives, and collaborate with stakeholders to embed financial perspectives

Qualifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting preferred.
• CA/ICWA/CPA not required, but preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools; SAC; CFIN; Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Strategic financial planning support for medium-to-long-term planning and governance.
• Budgeting and forecasting coordination, variance analysis, and commentary for leadership.
• Financial analysis, investment appraisals, and robust financial reporting in line with FP&A standards.
• Performance management: KPI tracking, identifying improvement opportunities across revenue, costs, and working capital.
• Integrated business planning: ensuring financial perspectives are embedded in cross-functional plans.
• Lead and develop Senior Finance Analysts and Analysts, promoting continuous improvement and adoption of FP&A tools.

What would you do?

The FP&A Specialist plays a pivotal role in bridging strategic financial planning and operational execution within the business unit. This role supports the Finance Business Partner by driving complex financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes, while providing guidance and oversight to Senior and Junior Analysts. The FP&A Specialist ensures alignment with Group FP&A standards and frameworks, translating strategic objectives into actionable financial plans and insights. This role acts as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, offering scenario modelling, data-driven insights, and recommendations to support informed decision-making and improve business performance.

Qualifications

Experience

Experience in finance from manufacturing sector or related field with a cross-functional analytical finance skillset, track record of effective leadership experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning Support medium-to-long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with Group FP&A direction and governance. Provide scenario analysis and risk assessment to inform strategic initiatives. Support the Finance Business Partner in embedding strategic planning processes and frameworks into the business unit.
• Budgeting and Forecasting Support the coordination of budget preparation and forecasting cycles, consolidating inputs from the business and reviewing outputs from The Hub. Deliver variance analysis and provide commentary with actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Collaborate with The Hub to ensure financial projections are robust and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting Conduct and review complex financial analysis, modelling, and investment appraisals. Deliver insights that support business cases, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives. Ensure quality of reporting and commentary, adhering to Group FP&A standards. Provide clear financial narratives to support decision-making at leadership levels.
• Performance Management Support target setting and KPI tracking for the business unit. Drive continuous performance monitoring, identifying opportunities for improvement. Provide analytical support on revenue, cost, margin, and working capital drivers.
• Integrated Business Planning Support IBP processes, ensuring financial alignment and integration with operational plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial perspectives are embedded in planning cycles.
• Leading and Team Development Mentor and guide Senior Finance Analysts and Analysts, building capability within the FP&A team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement. Support the Finance Business Partner, FP&A Manager, Divisional General Manager in team leadership, planning, and execution of key initiatives. Drive adoption of FP&A tools and best practices.
