Job summary

Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. seeks a senior Data Center Manager to lead a rapidly growing Aragón operation. You will own safety, availability, scaling, costs, and efficiency 24/7, while building and mentoring a team of managers and technicians from the ground up.

Your focus will be developing leaders, managing large-scale facilities, and aligning regional goals with AWS global standards, while driving operational excellence and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing managers.
• Experience hiring and developing strong talent and building a team.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
• Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, or asset management.
• Spanish language fluency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Center Managers and 100+ associates, building a high-performing organization.
• Define and execute the operational strategy for the Aragón region in line with AWS standards.
• Own KPIs, drive safety, availability, and efficiency improvements.
• Plan and execute new data center build-outs and expansions as the region grows.
• Manage Large Scale Events and provide clear communication during incidents.
• Collaborate across AWS teams to share best practices globally.
