Job summary

S&R Membership Shopping in Laguna is seeking a Security Supervisor to plan and implement the company’s security policies, supervise personnel, and coordinate safety measures for employees and customers.

You will review security systems, report incidents, conduct evacuations, and represent the company in investigations to protect people, merchandise, and property.

Qualifications

• BS Criminology, Security Management, or related field required.
• 3–5 years in security operations with leadership experience.
• Willingness to supervise and train security staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the company’s security policies and procedures.
• Review the overall security system with emphasis on physical, personnel, and information security.
• Supervise, motivate, and train all security personnel.
• Evaluate and review installation of security surveillance equipment and recommend improvements.
• Assist in strict implementation of safety measures as mandated in company policies.
• Assist in compliance to established security procedures and review/continue implementation.
• Identify threats and hazards and recommend actions to prevent incidents.
• Report infractions by employees and agency personnel to Security Manager/HRD.
• Prepare and submit daily security reports to Sr. Loss Prevention Manager and Security Manager.
• Implement evacuation programs for employee/customer safety and protect assets during emergencies.
• Implement Lost & Found policy of the company.
• Represent the company during court hearings or investigations related to safety & security.
• Track and apprehend shoplifters and pilferage per guidelines.
• Ensure fire exits and equipment are functional and accessible.
• Conduct investigations as regulated by management.
• Develop and implement programs to ensure safety of personnel, equipment, and property.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the planning and implementation of the company’s security policies & procedures.

• Conducts periodic review of the overall security system with the emphasis on the physical, personnel, and information security.

• Supervise, motivate, and train all security personnel of the organization.

• Evaluate and review installation of Security surveillance equipment and recommends suitable actions for improvement.

• Responsible for assisting the Security Manager in the strict implementation of safety measures as mandated in company policies.

• Assists in the compliance to established security procedures and make recommendations as to its review and or continued implementation.

• Identifies and recommends suitable action on the removal of potential threats and hazards which may cause accidents, injury, or losses of life & property.

• To report to the Security Manager and HRD all infractions/ violations committed by company employees and agency personnel against established rules & regulations of the company.

• Prepare and submit daily security report to the Sr. Loss Prevention Manager and Security Manager, any untoward incidents that occur during daily operation.

• Implements evacuations programs for the safety of the employees, customers, and assists the Warehouse Manager in ensuring the maximum protection of the merchandise, company assets, and properties in the event of fire and other form of adversity.

• Implements Lost & Found policy of the company.

• Represent the company during courts hearing or any investigations relative to safety & security issue.

• Tracks and apprehends shoplifters and employees pilfering in accordance with set guidelines.

• Ensure that all fire exits, Fire Extinguishers and all other Fire equipment are complete and working and must always free from any obstruction in case of emergency.

• Conduct investigations as regulate by Management.

• Develop, Implement direct programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property of the company.

• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualification:

• BS Criminology, bachelor’s degree in criminology, Security Management, or a related field

• Preferably with at least 3-5 years in security operations, with at least 3 years in leadership role.
