Job summary

Pointwest in Metro Manila, Philippines seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the full analytics delivery stack. You will transform raw data into insights, develop data models, optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, and create impactful BI products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of cloud data lakehouse design and implementation with open table formats (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg).
• 2+ years end-to-end reporting on Power BI; experience with dbt and Airflow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to understand analytic requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to support decision-making.
• Develop, optimize, and monitor data transformation workflows from source systems to semantic layers; enable Databricks cloud integration.
