Job summary

J-K Network Services in Taguig is seeking a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator for an on-site role. You will handle incidents, manage user access, link servers, design backups, and perform daily troubleshooting while aligning with SLA requirements.

The position offers a shift arrangement (morning/mid/night) with a temporary work-from-home setup and a negotiable salary up to PHP 120,000 gross monthly, plus an HMO and performance incentives. A degree in IT or CS is required.

Qualifications

• Attend to incident, request, change order and problem tickets using the agreed SLA.
• Create Users and assign permissions based on the required level of database access.
• Connect Linked Servers to SQL Servers and other databases such as Oracle etc
• Design and Monitor database Backup and Restoration Strategy
• Troubleshoot various problems that arise in a day-to-day work and fix the issues.
• Document major changes to the SQL Servers and applying Service Packs
• Knowledge in Failover Clustering, Database Mirroring, Backup and Restore, Optimizing Performance and T-SQL.
• Willing to work on night shift and Provide On-Call Support.
