Job summary

ScalableOS in Makati, Philippines is seeking a Database Administrator with strong Microsoft SQL Server experience to manage, tune, and secure databases. You will work remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep systems healthy, scalable, and compliant with security policies.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SSMS, strong SQL performance tuning, debugging, and familiarity with SSIS, Visual Studio, and VS Code. This role requires a permanent night shift and long-term WFH arrangement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on MS SQL Server administration experience.
• Strong experience in SQL Server performance tuning, debugging, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

SUMMARY

The Database Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure performance, reliability, and security. This role focuses on database administration, performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting, while supporting SQL development and database-related integrations as needed.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on SQL Server experience, proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and the ability to identify and resolve database issues efficiently. General networking knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft development tools are also beneficial.

• Familiarity with Microsoft development platforms and server infrastructure.
• Relevant Microsoft SQL Server, database administration, or other industry-recognized certifications.
