Job summary

Beep is seeking a senior BI/Data leader to drive end-to-end data strategy in a fast-growing FinTech environment. You will oversee pipelines, modeling, warehousing, governance, and data-driven decision making across multiple business units.

You will mentor a team of analysts and developers, and partner withFinance, Operations, Technology, and Business Development to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Data Science/Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Experience in FinTech, banking, or payment systems is a strong advantage.

Job description

As part of our Business Intelligence & Data team, you will:

• Lead ETL/ELT development and manage large-scale data pipelines across multiple environments.
• Oversee data modeling, warehousing, and governance to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) that provide actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply data science and analytics techniques to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in Finance, Operations, Technology, and Business Development to drive data strategy alignment.
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts and developers to deliver high-quality output while fostering growth and capability-building.
• Contribute to FinTech innovation projects, leveraging payments and transaction data to improve customer experiences.

What we are Looking For

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for modern data architectures.
• Experience in ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data integration.
• Familiarity with Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics workflows.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Exposure to data science and analytics methodologies (predictive models, statistical analysis).
• Background in FinTech, digital payments, or financial services is highly preferred.

Non-Technical Skills

• Excellent communication skills – ability to translate complex technical insights into business-friendly narratives.
• Strong leadership with proven experience in people management.
• Strategic mindset with customer-centricity and problem-solving orientation.
