Job summary

First Circle in the Philippines seeks a Data Analytics Lead to turn data into strategic action and partner with senior leaders to drive results. You will lead a small team, own end-to-end analytics initiatives, and ensure insights translate into business impact.

You will tackle tasks from restructuring analytics tables to building predictive models (churn, pricing elasticity) and automating recurring reports. A strong problem-solving mindset and execution focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in fintech/tech environments with a track record of delivering solutions.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Senior Leadership and provide high exposure to the executive leadership team.
• Lead projects with real business impact and minimal repetitive work.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
• Restructure analytics tables for consistency, fast retrieval, and easy metric creation.
• Diagnose sales funnel issues and work with the sales team to improve processes, including AI-assisted solutions where possible.
• Build churn-prediction models to pre-emptively engage customers at critical moments.
• Conduct price elasticity analysis and design experiments to test hypotheses.
• Automate weekly and monthly reporting to surface actionable insights.

We're looking for a Data Analytics Lead who's a practical problem-solver. The ideal candidate has strong problem solving and analytical skills, and is able to work with others to turn ideas into action. They don't stop at finding a neat solution to a problem - they want to implement change and see the results of their work. They're comfortable with data, ready to tackle tricky problems in ambiguous situations, and able to partner with stakeholders, including senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• The role will report directly to Senior Leadership and offer high exposure to the executive leadership team, working on strategic priorities.
• There will be limited repetitive or process-based work. The majority of the focus will be on projects that deliver real business impact.
• Projects will vary in nature, scope, and duration, making this role ideal for candidates who enjoy variety and tackling new challenges.
• Example projects could include:
• Restructuring our analytics tables to ensure consistency across the firm, fast retrieval, and user-friendly creation of new metrics.
• Diagnosing issues with our sales funnel and working with our sales team to improve processes, including AI-automated solutions where possible.
• Building a churn-prediction model that will help us to pre-emptively engage with customers at critical junctures.
• Conducting price elasticity analysis and designing and implementing experiments to test the hypotheses.
• Automating our weekly and monthly reporting to surface insights and allow us to see the "so what."

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 6+ years of experience, ideally in a fintech, tech company, or fast-paced environment, with a strong track record of implementing solutions and delivering results.
• Team Leadership: At least 1 year of experience leading and managing teams effectively.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Expertise: Strong structured problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in data and analytics tools (required: strong SQL; preferred: strong Python), including data modeling and table structuring for efficiency and usability.
• Execution-Driven Approach: Highly practical and results-oriented, with the ability to translate solutions into tangible business outcomes.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects and stakeholders within dynamic, high-growth environments.
