Job summary

Origo BPO (Phils) Limited, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets, design predictive models, and deliver actionable insights for strategic and operational decisions.

The role requires 3–5+ years in delivery projects with Agile practices, hands-on ML frameworks, SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Masters preferred).
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
2+ years commercial experience with Snowflake, including ELT pipelines and data sharing in Snowflake context.
Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources.
Develop and implement statistical models, ML algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions.
Interpret data, analyze results, and generate insights for decision-making.
Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
