Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics or physics related field.

• Proficiency in Python programming language.

Job Title: Data Scientist (AI Solutions)

About The Role

The Data Scientist participates in the identification of business challenges and opportunities by developing AI solutions for the group supported. The role involves applying data science principles in solving a range of business problems. This includes problem analysis and management to identify growth and improvement opportunities through data. Key responsibilities include data exploration, feature engineering, and machine learning modeling. The role participates in achieving Operational Excellence, Customer Intimacy, New Business & Workplace Transformation for the Groups supported. These will be through Solutions that use data to uncover patterns for Increasing Revenue, Reducing Cost, Managing Risk & Compliance.

What You'll Do

• Partner with stakeholders in defining the business problems, identifying challenges, discovering opportunities, developing and implementing recommendations from data driven solutions and insights.
• Prioritize, scope and manage data science project and the corresponding key performance indicators (KPIs) for success
• Understand new and existing data sources and process pipelines and catalog/documenting them.
• Apply statistical analysis and visualization methods and generate hypotheses about underlying mechanics of business processes.
• Develop and implement AI solutions leveraging big data (e.g., comprehensive internal and alternative data sources) and advanced analytic tools and techniques (e.g., R, Python, Power BI, Tensor flow, Keras, etc.) across the organization that will contribute to revenue, cost/loss reduction, risk treatment, and compliance.
• Apply various Machine Learning and advanced analytics techniques while integrating domain knowledge into the Machine Learning solution.
• Establish best practices around ML Operationalization or MLDLC
• Promote collaboration with other data science teams within the organization and encourage reuse of artifacts
• Present to stakeholders possible opportunities, recommended solutions and impact to the business, and implementation proposals.
• Creation of New Models , Analytics , Gen AI: End-to-end from Ideation, Development, Presentation to Stakeholders, Documentation, Governance Approvals, to Automated Deployment/Operationalization and Performance Monitoring
• Continuous Oversight and Monitoring of Live/Deployed Models: Regular review of model performance and corresponding action required (e.g., more stringent monitoring, analysis, retirement, retraining. redevelopment, etc.)

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in BS Statistics, BS Physics or BS Applied Physics
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Science or Analytics
• Preferably has background in the Banking Industry,
• Has e xperience in AI/Machine Learning and Analytics for Corporate Banking/ Institutional Banking
• Experience in Python Programming Language
