Job summary

JobCubby is seeking a Data Scientist to analyze data from multiple internal sources, design and maintain data processing pipelines, and apply descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. You will monitor model performance and data accuracy, and present outcomes clearly to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong statistics background, and proficiency with Scala, Python, SQL, and BI tools.

Qualifications

3+ years of proven working experience as a data scientist.
Thorough knowledge of modern data platforms.
Experience in designing, developing, and monitoring stable and performant software with minimum guidance.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large data sets and applying predictive analytics
Experience with Scala, Python, SQL
Background in mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, information management or statistics
Effective English written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Analyze data from various internal sources and define metrics
Design, develop and maintain data processing pipelines to use these data sources individually or combined
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model and system performance and data accuracy
Create and or improve descriptive, predictive, and potentially prescriptive analytics
Provide outcome in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
