Job summary

V2 Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer II to own end-to-end data platform work—from ingestion through transformation to data products that drive decision-making across the company. You will design and operate batch and real-time pipelines, collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and stakeholders, mentor teammates, and elevate reliability, testing, and observability of data systems.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in Data Engineering with production pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python for production-grade code.
• Solid grounding in data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with orchestration: Airflow, Dagster, or similar.
• Cloud experience (GCP preferred) and IaC (Terraform).
• Ability to work with ambiguity and ship solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines across batch and streaming systems.
• Own data models, SLAs, and quality contracts for your domains.
• Improve tooling, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring across the platform.
• Adopt AI-assisted engineering tools in daily workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Mentor interns and new engineers; support onboarding and reviews.
• Contribute to cloud infra governance, IAM, and cost optimization.
• Drive incident response and root-cause analysis for owned pipelines.
