Union Bank of the Philippines is seeking a Data Scientist (AI Solutions) to identify business challenges and develop AI-driven solutions using data science principles. The role focuses on data exploration, feature engineering, and machine learning modeling to improve revenue, costs, risk, and compliance.

You will partner with stakeholders, manage projects and KPIs, and leverage tools like Python, TensorFlow, and Power BI to deliver end-to-end AI initiatives for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in BS Statistics, BS Physics or BS Applied Physics.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Science or Analytics.
• Preferably has background in the Banking Industry.
• Has experience in AI/Machine Learning and Analytics for Corporate Banking/ Institutional Banking.
• Experience in Python Programming Language.

• Partner with stakeholders to define business problems and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Prioritize, scope and manage data science projects and KPIs for success.
• Understand data sources, pipelines and catalog/document them.
• Apply statistical analysis and visualization to hypotheses about business processes.
• Develop and implement AI solutions leveraging big data and analytical tools across the organization.
