Job summary

GoTyme PH (Philippines) is seeking a Data Science Senior Analyst to turn insights into action across the bank’s value chain. You will analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, and apply ML techniques to optimize deposits, lending, fraud prevention, and marketing strategies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, experimentation with new data sources, and staying current with data science advances to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, data science, economics, engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline.
• 3 to 7 years of related work experience is required.
• Experience in marketing analytics, credit risk management, or data science.
• Experience applying data science techniques and ML models in e-commerce or banking environments with proficiency in regression, trees, neural nets, clustering, and PCA.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, R, SAS, Python for large data processing and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across bank services.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations from data analyses.
• Set up test-and-learn programs to optimize marketing, acquisitions, and fraud strategies.
• Identify and onboard new data sources to support strategy development.
• Monitor performance of programs and recalibrate models and rules.
• Develop, maintain, and operationalize internal predictive models and oversee external models.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest data science developments and experiment with new tools.
