Job summary

Union Bank of the Philippines seeks a Data Governance Officer to strengthen the Data Trust and Governance team as data platforms and AI initiatives expand. You will develop and maintain governance policies, standards, and guidelines to meet regulatory expectations across the bank.

You will collaborate with business units and technology teams to embed governance in data initiatives, conduct assessments, monitor data quality and privacy, and support audits and governance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience in data governance, data management, or data quality.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain enterprise data governance policies and guidelines.
• Monitor compliance with data governance controls and data lifecycle management.
• Assess data-related risks and propose remediation measures.
• Prepare governance reports and materials for management and committees.
• Collaborate with business units and technology teams to embed governance in data initiatives.
• Support audits and regulatory assessments related to data governance.
