Job summary

HCM Nexus is seeking a Data Scientist to develop AI/ML solutions targeting Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and automated data extraction. You will work with structured and unstructured data to improve business processes and decision-making, collaborating with business stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists.

You will label and validate datasets, apply NLP, OCR, and Generative AI, and build evaluation and monitoring frameworks to track model performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience extracting insights from datasets and applying data science/analytics techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git.
• Preferred experience with OCR, NLP, image analytics or Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated document extraction and data enrichment solutions using AI/ML techniques.
• Manipulate and analyze data using Python and SQL Server to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights.

About the role

The role involves working with structured and unstructured data to develop solutions that improve business processes and decision-making. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists to transform business requirements into practical data and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automated document extraction and data enrichment solutions using AI/ML technologies.

About you

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git.

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
