Job summary

ClearDesk is seeking a Data Research and Validation Specialist to verify essential contacts and ensure precise data entry. You will work remotely, researching information, validating records, and supporting clients with clean data and timely outputs.

You’ll utilize Google tools and Office/Workspace apps, collaborate with the team, and adapt quickly to new technologies while meeting client priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience in data research and validation, including lead generation.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal, and time-management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and project management tools like Trello or Asana.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth online research to identify and validate critical data points, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Enter and manage data within client systems with high attention to detail.
• Use Google-based tools and other research software to streamline data collection.

The Role: Data Research and Validation Specialist

When the team needs verified contacts, you've already researched and validated them. When it's time to input data, you’re ahead of the curve, organized, precise, and efficient.

As a Data Research & Validation Specialist, you'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role. You'll conduct in-depth research to find and confirm critical contact information, ensure clean and accurate data entry, and troubleshoot any technical hiccups that arise. You'll work across software platforms, support administrative needs, and communicate clearly with clients to keep priorities aligned and tasks on track.

What Your Days Might Look Like:

• Responsible for conducting in-depth online research to identify and validate critical data points, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all collected information.
• Meticulously enter and manage data within the client’s system, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Utilize Google-based tools and other research software to streamline the data collection process efficiently.
• Proactively troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during data retrieval or entry and ensure consistency in all recorded information.
• Maintain open communication with the client regarding task priorities and deadlines.
• May be assigned additional administrative tasks to support the client’s business needs.

• You are willing to work in a US time zone schedule.
• You can secure the required technical setup, including:
• At least a 720p HD webcam
• A primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps
• A backup laptop, backup internet device, and backup power source
• A main computer with at least Intel Core i5 (or equivalent) and 8 GB RAM
• A backup computer with at least Intel Core i3 and 4 GB RAM
