Job summary

TASQ in Manila is seeking a Data Quality Specialist to join our Pasig team onsite. You will diagnose, resolve, and prevent data quality issues essential for investor reporting and regulatory compliance, building governance structures and ongoing monitoring across the data stack.

You will work with Salesforce data, SQL Server, and Purview to define validation rules, data lineage, and remediation plans, collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders to ensure trusted data in our systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Data Eng or related field.
• 3+ years in data analysis, governance, or quality roles.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with Salesforce data structures, validation rules, and triggers.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance tools.
• Demonstrated root cause analysis and data quality framework implementation.
• Knowledge of data quality dimensions and metrics development.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration concepts.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical findings for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues across technology stack.
• Develop SQL queries to investigate and validate data integrity throughout the pipeline.
• Implement improved data validation controls and automated quality checks.
• Set up and configure data governance frameworks in Purview for monitoring and compliance.
• Collaborate on the development of data quality metrics, thresholds, and scoring systems to measure and track quality.
• Establish automated monitoring processes to proactively identify issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement technical solutions for data quality problems.
• Document data lineage, transformation logic, and system integration points.
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and report to stakeholders.
