Job summary

Penbrothers in the Philippines is hiring a dedicated QA specialist to serve as the human quality layer on MARC's AI. You will review documents contract by contract, verify extracted fields, and ensure accuracy across dashboards.

Your corrections ensure dashboards are accurate today and help us improve the extraction pipeline for tomorrow, working with the Dublin and New York teams. You will be the first in this function, shaping the QA playbook as we grow.

About the role

You will be the human quality layer on top of MARC's AI. Working document by document, you'll compare what the platform extracted against the source contract, confirm what's correct, fix what isn't, and flag anything unusual for the engineering and customer teams. Your corrections do two jobs: they keep customer dashboards accurate today, and they teach us where the extraction pipeline needs to improve tomorrow. You'll be the first dedicated hire in this function, working closely with the founding team in Dublin and New York — with the chance to shape the QA playbook as we grow.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-extracted data fields (parties, dates, amounts, renewal and termination terms, escalators, insurance requirements, service scopes)




• Verify, correct, or complete each field against our extraction schema, meeting agreed accuracy and throughput targets.




• Flag extraction errors with clear, structured notes — what was wrong, why, and where in the document the correct answer lives — so recurring error patterns can be fixed at the source.




• Escalate ambiguous documents (conflicting clauses, missing pages, illegible scans, unusual contract structures) rather than guessing.




• Keep simple daily logs of documents reviewed, error rates, and error types; contribute to a growing library of review guidelines and edge cases.




• Work asynchronously with the team in Ireland and the US — clear written updates matter more than meetings.

What You'll Bring

• Comfortable reading commercial documents in English — you can find the renewal clause, tell a base fee from a pass-through charge, and spot when two sections contradict each other.




• Meticulous and consistent: you enjoy the kind of work where being 99% right isn't the goal — catching the 1% is.




• Clear written English; you can explain an error in two sentences that an engineer and a lawyer would both understand.




• Nice to have: Annotation or data-labeling QA experience, or familiarity with AI-assisted document tools.
