Job summary

Utrust Strategy Pte. Ltd. seeks a hands-on Data Protection Officer with a strong IT and website development background in Singapore. You will oversee PDPA compliance and support the security, maintenance and development of the organisation’s websites and digital systems.

The role requires translating regulatory requirements into practical business processes, with a balance of technical and operational data-protection expertise.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Protection or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT, website development, data protection, cybersecurity or compliance.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s PDPA and data-protection principles.
• Experience developing or maintaining corporate websites.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify or similar CMS.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; JS/PHP a plus.
• Familiarity with domain management, hosting, SSL certificates, backups.
• Understanding of cybersecurity risks, access controls, data breaches and incident-response.
• Experience with cloud storage, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Data Protection: act as the organisation’s DPO, implement data-protection policies, and ensure PDPA compliance.
• Website: create, develop, update and maintain corporate websites and landing pages; ensure mobile-friendly UX.
• IT & Security: implement security controls, manage access, monitor vulnerabilities and coordinate incident response.
