Job summary

Intelegencia seeks a mid-level Data Privacy Officer to oversee data protection strategy and ensure compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and international standards (GDPR/CCPA). You will bridge technical operations and regulatory requirements to protect the personal data of our global clients and local depositors.

The role emphasizes privacy governance, PIAs, incident response, DSAs, and training.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Data Privacy, Compliance, or Information Security experience.
• Banking/FinTech or BPO/IT-BPM sector experience mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, IT, Business Admin, or related field.
• NPC DPO ACE Level 1 or 2 and IAPP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization's compliance with the Data Privacy Act and NPC circulars.
• Lead Privacy Impact Assessments for new bank products, BPO workflows, and third-party vendor integrations.
• Manage Data Breach Response Team and timely NPC/data-subject notifications.
• Draft and update Privacy Manuals, Consent Forms, and Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs).
• Conduct privacy training for staff, focusing on Privacy by Design in customer service and processing.
• Liaise with National Privacy Commission and handle Data Subject Requests (DSRs).
