Job summary

SID Global Solutions APAC is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to own the deposits data migration workstream and serve as the primary counterpart to the vendor’s Data Migration Manager.

You will define the migration strategy, govern vendor delivery, validate mappings and business rules, and coordinate with IT and business SMEs to ensure data accuracy and minimal disruption during cutover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience delivering large-scale data migration initiatives, preferably core banking/deposits.
• Proven track record leading a data migration workstream with vendor teams.
• Experience with legacy-to-modern platform migrations (AS/400 to modern core banking) preferred.
• Hands-on with SQL and data tools; strong documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define migration strategy, scope, approach, and acceptance criteria aligned with releases.
• Develop and maintain data migration plan including environments and cutover readiness.
• Govern vendor delivery; review design, runbooks, mapping specs, and reconciliation logic.
• Coordinate with IT/business SMEs to validate source-to-target mappings and business rules.
• Define and execute verification controls; obtain stakeholder sign-off for each cycle.
• Lead defect triage, ensure RCA, and escalate risks early.
