Job summary

SID Global Solutions seeks a senior data migration lead to drive the Deposits Modernization Program. You will own governance, verification, and sign-off for vendor-led migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and auditability with minimal business disruption.

Responsibilities include defining migration strategy, developing the plan, governing vendor delivery, coordinating IT and business SMEs, and leading defect triage with robust RCA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience delivering large-scale data migration initiatives (core banking/deposits).
• Experience leading a data migration workstream and managing vendor delivery teams.
• Hands-on with legacy-to-modern platform migrations (AS/400 to modern core banking) preferred.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts and migration lifecycle.
• Understanding banking data objects and downstream impacts.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills; Power BI a plus.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Define migration strategy, scope, approach, and acceptance criteria; align with releases and cutover milestones.
• Develop and maintain the data migration plan (timeline, environments, mock runs, final cutover).
• Govern vendor delivery: review design, runbooks, ETL approach, mappings, and reconciliation; ensure RACI clear.
• Coordinate business and IT SMEs to validate source-to-target mappings and critical business rules.
• Define and execute verification controls with vendor and obtain sign-off for each cycle.
• Lead migration defect triage; escalate risks early; ensure RCA for recurring defects.
• Ensure test data readiness for SIT/UAT and parallel runs; manage data masking and refresh cadence.
• Plan cutover data activities with minimal downtime and rollback readiness.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular status reporting to governance and senior stakeholders.
