Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to drive the data migration workstream for a large-scale Deposits Modernization Program.

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to drive the data migration workstream for a large-scale Deposits Modernization Program. In this role, you will serve as the primary counterpart to the implementation vendor, ensuring successful planning, governance, validation, and execution of all data migration activities.
You will be responsible for overseeing migration strategy, data quality, reconciliation, cutover readiness, and stakeholder coordination to ensure accurate, secure, and seamless migration with minimal business disruption.
Lead the overall data migration strategy, approach, scope, timeline, and acceptance criteria aligned with program milestones.
Develop and manage end-to-end migration plans, including mock migrations, dress rehearsals, production cutover, and post-migration activities.
Govern vendor-delivered migration activities by reviewing migration design, ETL approach, mapping specifications, transformation rules, runbooks, and reconciliation processes.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate source-to-target mappings, business rules, and reference data.
Establish and execute migration validation and reconciliation processes, including record counts, control totals, balance verification, and exception management.
Lead migration defect management by coordinating issue resolution, root cause analysis, and risk escalation.
Ensure test data readiness for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and parallel run activities.
Plan and coordinate migration cutover activities, including data snapshots, load sequencing, reconciliation checkpoints, and rollback strategies.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, audit, and regulatory requirements throughout the migration lifecycle.
Prepare and present regular project status updates, risks, issues, and migration readiness reports to program leadership and key stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of experience leading large-scale data migration initiatives, preferably within core banking or deposits modernization programs.
Proven experience leading end-to-end data migration workstreams and managing vendor delivery alongside cross-functional business and technology teams.
Experience supporting legacy-to-modern platform migrations, including AS/400 or modern core banking platforms, is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with at least two of the following banking platforms:
TCS
Finacle
Fiserv
Strong understanding of:
Data migration lifecycle
ETL concepts
Data profiling, mapping, transformation, and reconciliation
Data quality management and validation
Banking data domains including customer, accounts, balances, products, and transaction history
Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work confidently with large and complex datasets.
Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
Strong documentation and governance discipline with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work across business, technology, and third-party vendors.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight project timelines.
Experience in large-scale banking transformation or core banking modernization programs is highly desirable.
