Data Maturity Assessment & Analytics Lead

Location: Philippines

As a Data Maturity Assessment & Analytics Lead, you will drive an enterprise-wide data maturity assessment and roadmap development initiative, guiding the organisation in understanding its current data capabilities and defining a clear strategy for improvement. You will bring a blend of strategic advisory and hands-on execution, ensuring that assessment findings translate into actionable, business-aligned data initiatives that elevate data quality, architecture, and analytics capabilities across the organisation.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

1. Data Maturity Assessment & Roadmap Development (Core Focus)

• Lead enterprise-wide data maturity assessments using recognised frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
• Evaluate current-state versus target-state capabilities across data quality, architecture, and analytics.
• Develop a multi-year data maturity roadmap with prioritised initiatives, clear timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Deliver strategic recommendations aligned with business objectives to raise organisational data maturity.

2. Data Management & Quality

• Establish best practices to strengthen consistency and usability of enterprise data.
• Define and operationalise data quality frameworks, metrics, and monitoring processes.
• Drive initiatives that improve data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

3. Business Intelligence & Analytics Enablement

• Support reporting and analytics capability uplift across the organisation.
• Partner with analytics teams to ensure data is structured, accessible, and optimised for insights generation.
• Provide expert guidance on enterprise data architecture, including data models, integrations, and platforms.
• Advise on best practices for building scalable and sustainable data ecosystems.

5. Hands-on Validation & Technical Guidance

• Perform hands‑on validation of data initiatives to ensure alignment with standards and expectations.
• Use SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools to conduct analysis and validate technical outputs.

6. Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

• Act as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
• Influence decisions and secure alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

7. Oversight & Cross‑functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Data Analytics, Engineering, and Business Units to ensure cohesive implementation of data initiatives.
• Drive integration and alignment of data efforts across the organisation.

Experience

• You have at least 10 years of experience in Data and Analytics with a strong consulting background.
• You have proven experience in data maturity assessments and roadmap development, or deep expertise in data management, data quality, analytics, and data architecture.
• You have experience working with large-scale datasets in industries such as Telecommunications, FMCG, Banking, or IT Consulting.

Technical Expertise

• You are proficient in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel.
• You have experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• You have strong knowledge of data management frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
