Job summary

Goldilocks Bakeshop, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Senior Data Governance Lead to oversee enterprise data definitions, standards, and governance processes. You will align data policies with business needs and work across units to improve quality and consistency.

You will mentor the Master Data Specialist, develop KPIs, dashboards (Power BI), and documentation. This role requires strong collaboration with Data owners and IT teams to deliver reliable data solutions for strategic decisions.

Job description

• Work collaboratively with Data Management Group and Data Governance council to maintain the enterprise data definition, business rules, and standards.
• Identify business processes affecting data management and collaborate with teams to lead improvement.
• Define, keep track and report the enterprise data governance SLA, KPI/metrics to the data governance council.
• Work with DQ Expert to create the data quality assurance documents such as checklists, process flow, standard operating procedures, templates/forms, etc.
• Interact with Data Owners and Data Quality Expert to review and evaluate DQ scorecard results.
• Work closely with Data Quality Expert to improve processes with poor data quality score.
• Lead the creation of the RCA and help in ensuring that all controls are implemented and followed to avoid recurring issues.
• Work with Data Owners when issues are escalated from the Master Data Specialist.
• Evaluate escalated issues for potential solution and determine if an unresolved data issue requires further escalation.
• Work with Developers to recommend solutions and determine software/app development requirements.
• Overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions related to Data Management processes.
• Provide data management training and presentations to Data Stakeholders.
• Coach and train the Master Data Specialist on any Data Management processes.
• Build capability to ensure operational excellence and maintain superior customer service levels for the internal customers.
• Documenting data management processes and cascading information to all relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible for managing through to completion all initiatives approved by the Data Governance Council.
• Conduct data audits and reviews of relevant systems, applications, and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in any courses.
• Deep understanding of Data Management and Data Governance Framework.
• Deep knowledge of data and understand the rules that governing data and how it is used by the business on a day-to-day basis.

• Experience in building dashboard, metrics, KPIs, and reporting.
• Experience in establishing Policies, Procedure Guidelines, and other documentations such as work instructions, checklist, templates or forms, etc.
• Experience working with teams to solve problems and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SAP or ERP applications (MDG, SD, MM, FICO, BODS, Info Steward), POS, SAPB1, ECOM, HRMS, EDW and ticketing system.
