Job summary

SID Global Solutions is seeking a QA/Test Engineer to review project requirements, design test scenarios, and execute comprehensive functional, SIT, and regression tests. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Development teams, documenting scripts clearly and contributing to unit testing efforts.

Strong SQL, ETL pipeline testing, and familiarity with Postman and Azure data tools are preferred. The role emphasizes independent work, good presentation skills, and willingness to innovate

Qualifications

• Good understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience in providing estimates and updating status on automation scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to innovate and implement new ideas.
• Good presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledgeable in Postman and Azure Data Factory / Azure Databricks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documents for tests to be developed.
• Create test scenarios and test cases and brainstorm with Team and BA.
• Execute all test cases (Functional, SIT and Regression), also participate in UAT.
• Document scripts with comments to provide insight to test logic.
• Work with Development team to capture and Unit Test results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams.
• Knowledgeable in SQL (can create and understand) scripts.
• With proven experience in data and ETL pipeline testing.
