Job summary

SunnyData is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and deploy data solutions that power AI, ML and BI insights for our customers. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to capture, transform, and operationalize data across analytics environments.

You should be passionate about learning, able to manage your time well, and communicate clearly in English. Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP, plus Spark, Hadoop or Kafka and SQL for data warehousing will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and SQL.
• Exposure to Spark, Hadoop or Kafka is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ML/AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy data solutions for AI, ML and BI insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to capture and transform data.
• Operationalize data pipelines and ensure data quality and governance.
• Analyze data sources for value and incorporate them into analytics workflows.
• Support customers across multiple accounts and report progress.
• Test data movement and transformations to ensure accuracy.
