Job summary

Personal Collection Direct Selling Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a data-focused professional to design scalable data models, implement data pipelines, and support analytics.

You will collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate, reliable data and enable data-driven decisions across the business. Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in CS/SE, proficiency in Python/SQL, and experience with data warehousing and cloud data services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, statistics or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; Java/Scala a plus.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and NoSQL (Couchbase) is a bonus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud data services (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery; AWS S3, Azure Blob, GCS).
• Experience with data integration tools (Airflow, Talend, Informatica) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to derive business insights from data.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics or related field; Strong foundation in computer science principles, algorithms, software development methodologies, and data analysis


• Proficiency in at least one, and ideally several, of: Python, Java, Scala, SQL.


• Working knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS) – i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL; knowledge in no-SQL databases (i.e Couchbase) is a plus.


• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).


• Knowledge of cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).


• Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica)


• Basic understanding of data analysis concepts, Familiarity with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.


• Solid understanding of fundamental data structures


• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design


• Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)


• Strong analytical skills with the ability identify key business insights from aggregated and consolidated data.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.


• Team player with a willingness to learn and work in an agile environment.


• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
