Job summary

Personal Collection Direct Selling Inc. is seeking a motivated undergraduate to assist in documenting ETL processes, optimize SQL queries, and support data flow improvements within the BI team. You will work across ETL workflows and collaborate with data engineers to ensure accurate reporting and stable data pipelines.

You will gain hands-on experience in data modeling, database validation, and documentation while collaborating with data engineers and analysts in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Review and document existing ETL processes with clear diagrams.
• Collaborate with BI team and Data Engineers to standardize naming conventions and storage locations.
• Analyze, validate, and optimize ETL workflows and SQL queries for performance and reliability.
• Convert fact views into physical database tables to boost reporting speed.
• Perform data validation and integrity checks across ETL processes and database objects.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for ETL workflows and schemas.

What you'll do:

• Review and document existing ETL processes by developing clear, accurate, and comprehensive process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (BI) Team and Data Engineers to standardize naming conventions and organize the storage locations of existing database tables.
• Analyze, validate, and optimize ETL workflows and SQL queries to improve data processing performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Convert fact views into physical database tables to enhance reporting performance and support efficient data retrieval.
• Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability across ETL processes and database objects.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for ETL workflows, database schemas, process improvements, and implementation changes.
