Job summary

HCM Nexus Consulting Inc. seeks a Lead Architect for Data Center Pre-Sales & Fulfillment. This highly technical role designs infrastructure, guides pre-sales, and leads delivery of data center projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating across sales, operations, engineering, and project teams to ensure compliant, cost-efficient, and scalable solutions. 3–5 years of data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certifications in data center infrastructure preferred (CDCP/CDCS).
• 3–5 years of data center infrastructure project experience, including design and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure designs using data center assets (power, cooling, space, cabling).
• Interpret MEP layouts, power load sheets, and riser diagrams for capacity alignment.
• Identify gaps in infra and coordinate with engineering/design for integration.
• Ensure proposed solutions are viable, cost-efficient, and executable by delivery teams.
• Coordinate across departments for infrastructure build-outs and delivery.
• Oversee on-site activities, walkthroughs, and validate installations.
• Monitor capacity across sites to support project planning and expansions.
• Collaborate with engineering/ops for accurate provisioning and planning.
• Provide input on scaling strategies based on demand and site limits.
• Engage with sales and product teams for pre-sales scoping and handoffs.
