Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to support critical data center operations in Pasig. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, monitor equipment, and ensure documentation and safety compliance.

You will work a 24/7 shift pattern, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with IT teams to minimize downtime while adhering to NFPA standards and site protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand equipment functionality.
• Proficiency in using precise measuring instruments to inspect and test equipment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Effective communication to report site situations and collaborate with IT teams.
• Physical stamina to lift equipment and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and respond to emergencies.
• Vocational certificate or diploma in a technical field is often required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on generators, transformers, UPS, and related electromechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures, including live systems and controls.
• Monitor equipment performance and temperatures during daily checks.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and robotic systems to resolve issues.
• Repair or rebuild defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Create and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Adhere to safety protocols and data center site standards.
• Be available for extended hours and emergency calls as needed.
