Job summary

Webhosting in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking a full-time Facilities Technician to manage and maintain the company’s data center equipment, ensuring reliable operation and minimal downtime.

You will monitor installations, perform regular inspections, install and repair electrical systems, keep MDF/IDF equipment operational, fix cabling, and coordinate with regulatory bodies such as BFP, DOLE and PEZA.

This role emphasizes hands-on maintenance and compliance across the data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assesses all company equipment and ensures installations in the facility are in good working condition.
• Conducts regular inspection of all company equipment and facilities.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment, wirings, and fixtures.
• Ensures company’s data center’s Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) equipment are on its full operation to avoid production downtime.
• Repairs network lines and commodities and re-installs structured cablings and ports.
• Coordinates and complies with regulatory requisites including Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), DOLE and PEZA Standards.
