Job summary

Sun Life Philippines is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to define and execute the enterprise data strategy. You will design data architecture, model data, and guide data governance across the organization, ensuring reliable access to critical information for business users.

You will lead data integration, ETL, and cloud-based solutions, mentor teams, and collaborate with IT, BI, Analytics, and security stakeholders to implement best practices and modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
• Strong experience with data platforms (SQL, NoSQL, cloud databases).
• Experience with data governance and data privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data models, standards and governance.
• Define data strategy aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead data integration and ETL initiatives across platforms and teams.
• Collaborate with BI, Analytics, IT and security teams to execute data projects.
• Mentor data engineers and analysts and stay current with data technologies.
