Job summary

Sun Life Philippines is seeking a senior Data Architect to define and govern the enterprise data strategy. You will build and maintain data models, standards, and architectures that support business outcomes while coordinating roadmaps with cross‑functional teams.

You will mentor data engineers, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead adoption of cloud data lakehouse concepts and modern data platforms. This role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 10+ years in data architecture, modeling and management.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and cloud databases.
• Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations.
• Proficient in Erwin/PowerDesigner and data integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise data strategy aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models and governance.
• Lead data architecture documentation across conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Coordinate data roadmaps with project managers and teams.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor data engineers and analysts; guide delivery teams.
