Job summary

Vertical Institute Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Trainer and Curriculum Developer (Power BI) to deliver practical, instructor-led training in Singapore and drive curriculum development aligned with industry needs.

The role targets practitioners who can teach Power BI, Python/R, SQL, and GA4, with experience in corporate training and adult learning. This is a part-time, onsite position based in Singapore. Compensation includes hourly base pay plus KPI incentives.

We are looking for passionate Data Analytics Trainer and Curriculum Developer (Power BI) to deliver engaging, practical training that helps working professionals develop in-demand skills and achieve real workplace impact. What you will do

Deliver practical data training

• Facilitate engaging instructor-led training sessions in both classroom and virtual environments.

• Deliver one or more courses across data analytics, data science, business intelligence, digital analytics, or sustainability reporting.

• Lead hands-on workshops using real-world datasets, projects, and business case studies.

Develop learner capabilities

• Guide learners through practical exercises, assignments, and capstone projects.

• Adapt teaching approaches to suit learners with varying technical knowledge and professional experience.

• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.

Drive learning excellence

• Ensure training delivery aligns with SSG/WSQ standards and adult learning best practices.

• Collaborate with curriculum developers to refine course content and improve learning outcomes.

• Keep training materials current by incorporating evolving industry practices, tools, and technologies.

What we look for

We are looking for experienced practitioners who combine technical expertise with a passion for teaching. Successful candidates typically have:

• ACTA or ACLP certification (or equivalent adult education qualification).

• Strong industry experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related fields.

• Hands-on proficiency in Power BI, Python and/or R, SQL, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

• Experience delivering corporate training or adult learning programmes.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• The ability to simplify technical concepts into practical, business-focused learning experiences.

Candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

• Delivering SkillsFuture-funded or WSQ-accredited programmes.

• Teaching adult learners or mid-career professionals.

• Experience as a lecturer, adjunct instructor, trainer, or corporate facilitator.

• Curriculum design or training content development.
