Job summary

Personal Collection Direct Selling Inc. is seeking a student intern to review and document ETL processes, collaborating with BI and Data Engineering teams to standardize naming and storage of database tables.

Responsibilities include analyzing ETL workflows, optimizing SQL queries, converting fact views to physical tables, and maintaining technical documentation for ETL processes and schemas. A related Bachelor's degree is required and SQL knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of data structures, data transformation, and ETL concepts is an advantage. Familiarity with data visualization or business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and document existing ETL processes by developing clear, accurate, and comprehensive process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (BI) Team and Data Engineers to standardize naming conventions and organize the storage locations of existing database tables.
• Analyze, validate, and optimize ETL workflows and SQL queries to improve data processing performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Convert fact views into physical database tables to enhance reporting performance and support efficient data retrieval.
• Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability across ETL processes and database objects.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for ETL workflows, database schemas, process improvements, and implementation changes.
