Job Description
As a Data Analyst, you will analyze pricing, billing, sales, and operational data to support better business decisions and improve overall sales performance and customer experience. This role requires strong Excel and Power Query skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex data into clear and useful recommendations. You will also help identify opportunities to improve reporting, automate repetitive tasks, and use emerging AI and technology solutions to make processes more efficient.

What you'll do:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, organize, clean, and analyze pricing, billing, sales, and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data summaries that provide clear insights for Sales Managers, Mobility Support Teams, and other stakeholders.
Interpret data accurately and communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and practical manner.
2. Pricing & Billing Analysis
Analyze vendor rate plans, pricing structures, customer options, and billing information to support accurate pricing and solution recommendations.
Review pricing and billing data to identify discrepancies, opportunities for improvement, and potential impact on customers and business profitability.
3. Excel & Power Query
Use advanced Excel functions and tools, including PivotTables, PivotCharts, XLOOKUP or INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, and complex formulas, to analyze and manage datasets.
Use Power Query to import, clean, transform, combine, and refresh data for recurring reports and analysis.
Identify repetitive reporting tasks that can be improved through Excel automation, macros, or other efficient data-processing methods.
4. Technology & Process Improvement
Use basic knowledge of SQL, VBA, macros, Power BI, Tableau, and other data tools to support analysis and reporting. Advanced expertise in all tools is not required.
Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows, reduce manual work, minimize errors, and make reporting and analysis more efficient.
Explore and apply practical AI and automation tools to support data analysis, research, reporting, and process improvement.
5. Recommendations & Collaboration
Provide data-backed recommendations to Sales Managers and Mobility Support Teams based on pricing, billing, and operational analysis.
Research vendor pricing, market information, and customer options to support informed business decisions.
Work with cross-functional teams and managers to review findings, explain recommendations, and ensure alignment on proposed improvements.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred but not required.
1-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, pricing, billing, finance, sales operations, or a similar analytical role.
Strong Excel skills with hands-on experience using PivotTables, XLOOKUP or INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, and other formulas for data analysis.
Hands-on experience with Power Query for data cleaning, transformation, combining datasets, or recurring reporting is required.
Experience with SQL, VBA, or macros, and at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain data, findings, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently with large or complex datasets.
Amenable to working in a hybrid setup after full onsite training and during U.S. working hours.
Quick learner with an interest in learning new technologies, AI tools, and process automation solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in telecommunications, utilities, mobility, finance operations, sales operations, or a similar data-driven environment.
Experience with pricing analysis, billing analysis and resolution, financial or price breakdowns, or rate plan analysis.
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or similar platforms for data analysis, reporting, research, or process improvement.
