Job summary

SPX PHILIPPINES INC. is seeking a detail-oriented strategist/analyst to support the Expansion department with quantitative analyses, budget tracking, and KPI monitoring.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 2–3 years in strategy/finance, strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and good English/Filipino communication. Travel readiness is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Management/Industrial Engineering/Finance/Mathematics)
• 2–3 years of experience in strategy, finance, and/or project management
• Strong track record in strategy and analytics
• Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite, especially MS Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides
• Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
• Strong English and Filipino communication
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Willing to travel

Responsibilities

• Determine the feasibility of current and planned initiatives through quantitative and qualitative analyses

• Creation of quantitative analyses and models to evaluate the actualized costs versus budget on an individual, team, and department level

• Monitor the P&L of the Expansion department and its verticals

• Prepare detailed plans to track, monitor, and evaluate the performances on an individual, team, and department level

• Monitor and implement changes to the budget and performance KPIs of the department

• Coordinate directly with relevant internal stakeholders and external partners

• Deliver significant operational improvement and financial benefits to meet annual targets

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Industrial Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent

• At least 2-3 years of work experience in strategy, finance, and/or project management

• A great track record of successful strategy and analytics is required

• High proficiency in MS Office and G Suite, especially in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides

• Outstanding critical thinking and interpersonal skills

• Strong communication skills in English and Filipino

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus

• Capable of handling multiple tasks and working under pressure

• Willing to travel
