Job summary

Brenton International Venture Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Cylinder Inventory Supervisor to lead and oversee cylinder inventory operations across multiple plants. The role focuses on accuracy, movement monitoring, reporting, and supervising Cylinder Controllers to ensure efficient warehouse and logistics performance.

The candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, monitor cylinder movements, prepare operational reports, and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily physical inventory across all plants and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Monitor cylinder movements and stock levels; validate plant-to-plant transfers.
• Prepare accurate daily and monthly inventory reports and consolidate data.
• Lead and coach Cylinder Controllers; monitor team performance and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OHSE initiatives, and safety standards.

About the Role

Brenton International Venture Manufacturing Corporation (BIVMC) is looking for a Cylinder Inventory Supervisor to lead and oversee cylinder inventory operations across multiple plants. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing who are passionate about operational excellence and team leadership.

The successful candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, monitor cylinder movements, supervise Cylinder Controllers, prepare operational reports, and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Supervise the daily physical inventory of cylinders across all assigned plants.

• Ensure accurate inventory monitoring, recording, and reconciliation.

• Monitor cylinder stock levels and availability.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.

• Validate plant-to-plant cylinder transfers and other cylinder movements.

• Monitor all cylinder transactions, including:

  • New cylinders

  • Sold/Deposit cylinders

  • Additional stocks

  • Defective cylinders

  • Returned cylinders

  • Repaired and requalified cylinders

  • Disposal of cylinders

Operations & Reporting

• Prepare accurate daily and monthly inventory reports.

• Consolidate inventory data from all plants.

• Conduct regular site visits to verify inventory accuracy and operational compliance.

• Review and validate petty cash requests related to Cylinder Management operations.

• Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Leadership

• Supervise, coach, and support Cylinder Controllers.

• Monitor team performance and ensure operational objectives are achieved.

• Promote accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Support Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) initiatives.

• Ensure all personnel follow safety standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
