Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Manila, Philippines, is looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to monitor, analyze and contextualize cyber threats affecting the logistics sector. You will join the Cyber Defense Center and report to the CTI Lead, with a hybrid work setup (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH).

You will develop global watch intelligence, track attacker TTPs, support DFIR and ISAC coordination, and produce threat intelligence briefings to enhance our security posture across the organization and

Qualifications

• Credentials in cybersecurity industry (SANS/GIAC, EC-Council, CISSP, CISA).
• Experience in cyber threat intelligence or SOC/CERT environments.
• Understanding of frameworks, lifecycle, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop global watch intelligence across blogs, leaks and sources.
• Monitor the clear, deep and dark web for data and threats.
• Interpret news and events with a cyber perspective.
• Compile attacker TTPs and support DFIR, fraud investigations.
• Improve monitoring and alerting; enable threat hunting.
• Provide contextualized threat intelligence briefings for ISACs and teams.
• Analyze threats/attacks on business functions and assets; provide defenses recommendations.
• Contextualize IoCs and contribute to CERT/SOC activities and monthly metrics.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst profile to watch and understand the threats that can affect our industry and organization, anticipate future threats, and create threat intelligence-driven products.

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst reports to the CTI Lead.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst within the Cyber Defense Center, you will:

• Develop global watch intelligence:
• oWatch cybersecurity blogs, research and leaks;
• oMonitor the clear, the deep and the dark web for data and threats;
• oInterpret political and economical news and events with a cyber point of view;

• Watch the global cyber threat landscape:
• oCompile attacker Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs);
• oSupport Digital Forensic and Incident Response (DFIR), fraud and legal investigations;
• oImprove monitoring and alerting;
• oEnable threat hunting based on past events;

• Understand threat actors and anticipate future threats:
• oFollow and watch threat actor’s activities and operations;
• oExtrapolate threat actor’s objectives, methodologies and targets;
• oEnable pro-active threat assessments;

• Create threat intelligence-driven products:
• oContextualized security and threat landscape briefings for our organization and partner ISACs;
• oAnalysis of threats and attacks to a business function & assets;
• oRecommendations on how to position our cyber defenses based on expected attacks;
• oCompile and contextualize of Indicators of Compromise (IoCs);

• Other responsibilities:
• oContribute to on-call rotation and be available for punctual off-hours emergency work;
• oParticipate to information sharing and collaboration (ISAC) efforts;
• oParticipate to CERT/SOC transversal collaboration activities;
• oParticipate to projects, improvements and compliance efforts related to CERT matters;
• oParticipate to monthly metrics;

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You hold relevant cybersecurity industry credentials, including:

• oTechnical SANS/GIAC certifications
• oTechnical EC Council certifications
• o CISSP
• o CISA

You are from a STEM, cybersecurity or equivalent academic background, focused on rigor and optimisation;

You have a very good understanding of Cyber threat intelligence frameworks, lifecycle, diamond model, kill chain, Mitre Att&ck

You have 5 or more years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities, including CERT or SOC;

You have a good understanding of information security frameworks (e.g. : ISO 27000, NIST framework);

You are able to convey an information security message to an organization’s management and technical staff;

Experience in the transport/shipping/logistics is a plus;

You master oral and written English in a professional context.
