The Accounting Operations function encompasses roles responsible for the day‑to‑day management of Customs‑related and financial transactions. This includes ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to accounting principles and standards. The scope covers cost accounting (such as allocation and analysis of direct/indirect costs and variance analysis), budget accounting (including development and monitoring of annual revenue and expense budgets), as well as accounts payable/receivable, billing, and invoicing activities.
This position falls within the administrative career stream, comprising roles that provide skilled technical, administrative, and operational support. Employees may range from entry‑level staff to experienced individual contributors who possess solid technical knowledge and can independently execute specialized tasks that support broader operational goals.
