Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in BS Customs Administration.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding, Customs or Logistics preferred.
• Knowledgeable on customs processes and laws.
• Quick-thinking, keen to details, with crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate tariff classification, lodgment of shipments.
• Perform accurate documentation, customs clearance, processing and timely release of Import and Export shipments from customs custody.
• Submitting shipping documents to customs or brokers for customs processing.
• Maintain accurate and proper documentation of shipment details in freight system.
• Assist in computation, filing, and payment of Bureau of Customs duties and taxes.
• Monitor shipment departure, arrival, and clearance statuses to ensure prompt release of shipment.
• Expedite release of shipments by following up and coordinating with stakeholders responsible for customs processing.
• Coordinate customs clearance status with logistics arm to ensure proper communication of information and timely delivery of each shipment.
• Inform logistics arm and clients when a potential demurrage or detention event could occur.
• Performs other related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
