Job summary

Inteluck Corporation is seeking a Customs Declarant to support freight forwarding and customs clearance operations. You will analyze shipments, classify goods by tariff codes, and prepare required documents for submission to authorities.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience and knowledge of CMTA, HS codes, INCOTERMS, and Excel. A PRC license is preferred but not mandatory, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration or related field.
• Licensed Customs Broker (PRC) is preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Declarant in freight forwarding or customs clearance.
• Proficient in E2M, VASP, PEZA EIPS/AEDS, HS code classification, INCOTERMS, and MS Excel.

Job description

• Check ETA and shipping details

• Classify the goods or cargoes from the tariff and customs code (AHTN)

• Computation of duties and taxes

• Prepares required documents that needs to be submitted to authorities.

• Report updates of status/ problem of the Cargoes/ Shipments

• Coordinate with the processors assign regarding the status of their shipment/ deliveries

• Update/ coordinate with clients the status/ problem of their cargoes/ shipments

• Request Advances for the processing and releasing of shipments

• Performs other that may be assigned from time to time

• Close working relationship with the account handler

• Close working relationship with the PIC in charge of carriers

• Directly liaise with the port authorities

Requirements

1. Education: Must be a graduate Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration or any related field.

2. Licensure: Licensed Customs Broker (PRC) is highly preferred but not required.
3. Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years working experience as a Declarant, in freight forwarding, or customs clearance.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in E2M (Electronic-to-Mobile) system, VASP (Value Added Service Provider), PEZA EIPS/AEDS, HS Code classification, INCOTERMS, and MS Excel is highly preferred.
5. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) and all other customs procedures.
6. Documentation: Ability to process entry declarations, import/export permits, and other customs documents.
7. Personal Attributes: Good moral character, detail-oriented, and ability to work under pressure
