Job description

The Customs Broker is responsible for facilitating the end-to-end customs clearance and logistics

coordination of the Company’s inbound shipments working closely with the Bureau of Customs (BOC),

other relevant government agencies, freight forwarders, and third-party transportation service

providers. The position ensures that all customs and logistics transactions are processed accurately,

efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable customs laws, tariff regulations, importation

requirements, and Company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end importation and customs clearance process, from pre-arrival documentation through the final release and delivery of goods.
  • Ensure all import and export transactions comply with Bureau of Customs regulations, tariff laws, import requirements, and other applicable government regulations.
  • Review, verify, and prepare shipping and customs documents.
  • Coordinate with the Bureau of Customs and other government agencies regarding shipment processing, inspections, clearances, permits, and related requirements.
  • Monitor the status of shipments, customs entries, assessments, and releases to ensure that goods are cleared and released within the required timelines.
  • Coordinate with exporters, importers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, truckers, and other logistics partners to facilitate the smooth movement and delivery of cargo.
  • Monitor and coordinate the assessment and timely payment of customs duties, taxes, fees, and other applicable charges.
  • Manage and monitor the validity and renewal of import licenses, permits, accreditations, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and organized records of customs declarations, permits, payments, shipment documents, and other supporting records for audit, reporting, and compliance purposes.
  • Identify potential customs or regulatory issues and coordinate with the appropriate parties to resolve discrepancies, delays, or compliance concerns.
  • Keep abreast of changes in customs laws, tariff rates, import regulations, and government procedures that may affect company operations.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration.
  • Must be a Licensed Customs Broker.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in importation, exportation, and customs brokerage.
  • Strong knowledge of Bureau of Customs procedures, tariff classification, customs duties and taxes, import/export regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of applicable permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements of relevant government
