Job summary

Enso PH Corp. is seeking an IMPEX Manager to oversee all import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

The role coordinates with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery while optimizing costs. Responsibilities include managing documentation, licenses, and certificates; supervising staff; negotiating freight rates; and reporting on performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international trade laws, and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all import and export activities.
• Ensure proper documentation (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin) is prepared and compliant with regulations.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and carriers to facilitate smooth clearance and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Keep updated with changes in trade regulations, tariffs, and duties.
• Manage import/export licenses, permits, and certificates.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor IMPEX staff.
• Assign responsibilities and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide training on customs procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor freight costs, tariffs, and logistics expenses.
• Negotiate rates with shipping lines, carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
• Prepare reports on import/export performance, compliance status, and costs.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Provide timely updates to management regarding shipment status and potential delays.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the management.

• Authorize customs clearance documentation and related transactions.
• Negotiate freight and logistics contracts within approved budget limits.
• Initiate corrective actions for delays, compliance issues, or operational inefficiencies.
