Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Management

  • Process cash, credit, debit, and digital payments accurately.

  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change promptly.

  • Balance cash drawer or POS system at the start and end of shifts.

• Customer Service

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with inquiries.

  • Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and **escalate** when necessary.

  • Promote restaurant specials, packages, or promotions when appropriate.

• Record Keeping & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate transaction records and follow company financial policies.

  • Report discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious activities to supervisors.

  • Ensure compliance with restaurant standards and procedures.

• Workplace Support

  • Keep cashier station clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.

  • Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the dining area.

  • Support front-of-house staff with guest coordination when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.

• Strong numerical and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

• Professional, courteous, and trustworthy demeanor.

Working Conditions
