Job summary

PDAX in the Philippines is seeking a Controllership Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance for digital assets and fiat balances.

You will bridge traditional controllership with crypto-asset accounting, leading a high-performing team, driving process improvements, and coordinating with finance, product, and ops to ensure accurate close and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years accounting and controllership experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• Experience in fintech/crypto or high-volume transactions is a plus.
• Familiarity with on-chain data and digital asset accounting methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close with compliance to PFRS/IFRS and local taxes.
• Manage AP, fixed assets, revenue recognition, expense accruals, intercompany accounts.
• Design controllership frameworks for digital assets including revenue recognition and impairment.
