Job summary

AD&V Business Consultancy and Outsourcing Services Inc. is seeking a motivated Crew Operator to work in a dynamic crewing environment in Parañaque, Metro Manila.

You will collaborate with the Crewing Manager on rotation plans, crew changes, and end-to-end onboarding including medicals and visa arrangements. The role requires at least 2 years’ Crewing Assistant/Officer experience in a Manning agency, strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least 2 years' experience as Crewing Assistant/Officer in a Manning agency.
• Extensive experience and understanding of International maritime convention, crew certification requirements and regulations (DMW, IMO, STCW, MARINA, Liberian Flag & MLC)
• Excellent computer literacy and knowledge in using Microsoft office applications
• Extroverted with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Crew Manager regarding rotation and deployment plan
• Coordinate with the Crew Manager regarding crew changes
• Responsible for the preparation, endorsement and monitoring of the crew to accredited clinics for pre-employment medical examinations
• Ensure the correctness and validity of the appropriate medical package and Flag authority endorsement
• Endorsement and monitoring of the crew to accredited training centers
• Ensure crew has undergone all principal required training
• Assist and monitor the crew's visa applications for the various embassies
• Coordinate and arrange with port agents regarding port documentations including visa on arrival formalities for the crew
• Organize and monitor completion of crew documents such as PEME, visa, training, DMW contract, Flag endorsements and Marina certifications
• Ensure crew has valid vaccinations required by governmental bodies and industry regulations
• Ensure crew has attended the PDOS and anti-piracy training
• Coordinate with the crew with regards to their vessel assignments, reportorial and documentation requirements
• Ensure that all crew documentation and personal information are uploaded and properly recorded in the PSR system
